Good Morning there, girls!

Today is a fun day for me, today marks the beginning of a new monthly tradition, Haul Fun with Polish, Plants, and More..... ! Heather and I recently struck up a wonderful friendship and mutual love for vintage polish so we thought it only fitting to share what we haul in every month! I've been cutting down on my polish buying lately so I only raked in a mere 37 in January. (Which may seem like a lot to you, but really I wasn't seeking any out like I normally do! I SWEAR LOL!) Enjoy!

Retro Sunday Squared With The Scholarly Nail - Green Vintage OPI's - Jasper Jade

It's that time again!

Welcome to another lovely addition of Retro Sunday Squared with myself and Jacqui and The Scholarly Nail! I look forward to these posts so much when we have a chance and today is extra exciting since we're showing off green Vintage OPI's!

Today I have Jasper Jade to share, one of the rarest OPI's I have and by far one of my faves! Jasper Jade came out in their 1996 Rocky Mountain collection. It's fitting that I would post this polish on Retro Sunday Squared since Jacqui and I each found a bottle while dusting hunting together over the summer. I SWEAR that chick and I have the best of luck together! Jasper Jade is a kind of green right up my alley, a blacked green polish with the perfect hint of shimmer. Formula was on the thinner side as older polishes can be, this is three coats. So awesome. (AND this was my first time getting this on my tips - I'm wearing it now!)

Don't forget to check out Jacqui's post! :D

Maybelline Express Finish - Fuchsia Fling

Sorry this post is really late! It's snowing here in Virginia Beach AKA pandemonium has taken over and people don't know what to do! Myself being from Cleveland, this ain't nothin'! I'm snuggling up for the night with my DVR and finally taking some time to swatch for the first time in weeks!

Today I have another Maybelline vintage gold cap polish to share - Fuchsia Fling. It's just so freaking awesome! The base is a sheer fuchsia base LOADED with shards of fuchsia and a very minute amount of silver glitter. It's so stunning! It actually wore REALLY REALLY well! I wore it four days with minimal chipping/tip wear. This is three coats.

Everyone be safe out in the snow!

Maybelline - Zip Fly

Good Morning!

I hope you're all having a great week so far! Life's been pretty busy lately with working so much, planning a wedding, and trying to have a social life makes for one busy blogger! I don't want to quit blogging, so my posts just might not be every day - but I'll post as often as I can!

Today I have one of my favorite Maybelline's - Zip Fly. I have an obsession with SSN-esque polishes and this is on the top of the list! Zip Fly has that deep navy blue background with micro-fine silver glitter swimming within. The brush was wonky as can be though. Why this happens with old Maybelline gold caps I just don't know. Either way, LOVE LOVE LOVE. I *think* this is two coats.

Have a great day, all! <3

Pretty Serious Cosmetics - Seasonal Sunset

Happy Saturday, everyone!

Today I have my final polish I purchased from Pretty Serious's Christmas Without Snow collection - Seasonal Sunset. Hummina hummina hummina! WOWZA, BABY! I knew this was on my must-have list and I'm so glad I was proved right! If there's two three things that Pretty Serious knocks out of the ball park, it's red, green, and glitter. They remain the tops in my stash and true loves of polish!

Seasonal Sunset is a rusty red jelly based polish just BURSTING with copper and red irregular glitter. It burns from within! What an amazing polish with an equally amazing name! It's ON FIRE! I think this is a perfect holiday polish with a splash of sass! LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE! Formula, as we've all come to know and love from Pretty Serious, was perfection. This is three thin coats.

Knocked me off my seat!

Today I have my vintage Nail Fetish collection to share. I remember when I started working at Walgreen's in 2000, these were awesome! Sorry for the late post, I woke up with a horrible migraine and pretty much wasted my entire day laying in bed in silence. *sigh* I'm feeling a little bit better now, but I just moved to my couch to watch Sex and The City.

Today I have my vintage second generation Urban Decays to share. While photographing them, I realized I'm missing my bottle of Trip! What the heck?! I hunted for it everywhere and can't find it! ANNOYING!! Enjoy, ladies!

Midnight Cowboy, Twisted, Sin, Florescent

Pretty Serious Cosmetics - Hot Summer Nights

Good Morning!

I hope you're all having a great week so far! Work hasn't been nearly as crazy as it normally is, so I'm really grateful for that! Today I have another polish from Pretty Serious's Christmas Without Snow Collection, Hot Summer Nights. From the moment I first saw pics of the bad boy pop up on Kaz's blog I KNEW I had to get my hands on it! Hot Summer Nights is a deep, RICH navy jelly polish with gorgeous glitter swimming within! I love that starry nights polishes and I can gladly call this one of my favorites! The way the glitter peaks through is just so magical! Formula was a little thick but on point and was perfect after two coats.

What do ya think? AMAZING RIGHT?!
